Kwame Jantuah, a leading member of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), has boldly stated that the former vice president, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, will be the winner of the NPP flagbearer race.
According to Kwame Jantuah, the other candidates in the NPP flagbearer race are just wasting their money.
He noted that Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is the most marketed person in the NPP today.
Speaking on Key Points on TV3 Saturday, July 19, Kwame Jantuah stated, “Dr Bawumia is going to win this particular election. All the rest are going to waste their money. He is the most marketed person in the NPP today; the only catch is that he doesn’t suffer from Akufo-Addo’s failure.
“The NPP at this point needs to build unity in their party and confidence with the people that what happened in the last 8 years will not be repeated,” he added.
Kwame Jantuah’s comment comes as the NPP holds its National Delegates Conference is scheduled today, Saturday, July 19, 2025.
Delegates are expected to deliberate on proposed amendments arising from the Prof. Mike Oquaye Committee report and a very old proposal from the 2019 Delegates Conference in Kumasi.

Joseph Osei Owusu, the Chairman of the Planning Committee, revealed, “In all, we have about a little over 50 motions. You may have one amendment, which will have about 50 proposed amendments.
“So what the motions are doing is to consolidate the various issues that come around, and the members will have to vote on those motions,” Osei Owusu explained.
Prophet on Bawumia’s victory being ordained
Meanwhile, Prophet Emmanuel Walasi, the lead pastor of the Conquerors Chapel International in Kumasi, has declared Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s victory in the NPP’s presidential primaries is ordained.
In an interview, Prophet revealed that nothing can change Dr Bawumia’s victory.
He revealed that many New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters support Kennedy Agyapong outwardly.
According to the man of God, although many NPP supporters support Kennedy Agyapong but their hearts are with Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
The prophet revealed in his vision that Kennedy Agyapong is being followed by a massive crowd, while Dr Bawumia had just a few persons behind him.
Prophet Emmanuel Walasi emphasised that Bawumia’s outcome is spiritually sealed and cannot be altered by physical or strategic manoeuvres.
Speaking in an interview with Okay FM, Prophet Walasi detailed, “In the vision, I saw Ken Agyapong being followed by a massive crowd, while Dr Bawumia had only a small group behind him. In the eyes of men, Ken was the clear favourite”.
“But something strange happened. I saw that those wearing Ken Agyapong’s T-shirts into the voting booth came out wearing Dr Bawumia’s T-shirts.”
Prophet Emmanuel Walasi added, “The Lord revealed to me that although many appear to support Ken Agyapong outwardly, their hearts are with Dr Bawumia. That is why he will eventually emerge victorious”.
“Unlike the 2024 elections, where spiritual interference altered the results, this one has been ordained. Nothing can change it. If the election is held today, Dr Bawumia will win outright,” he stated.
