Hassan Ayariga, the Founder and Leader of the All People’s Congress (APC), has alleged that a self-proclaimed Igbo King in Ghana made his money through woman trafficking.
According to Hassan Ayariga, Chukwudi Jude Ihenetu came to Ghana as an Igbo businessman selling cassettes.
Ayariga further boldly claimed that the self-proclaimed Igbo King in Ghana brought in a lot of prostitutes and made millions of cedis.
Speaking on the Good Evening Ghana program, Hassan Ayariga stated, “He is not an Igbo Royal in Nigeria; he came here as an Igbo businessman selling cassettes. He did not make millions of cedis; he brought in a lot of prostitutes, ladies. You know the Nigerian ladies in the circle and all that.
You don’t know the syndicate of these Nigerians; they started trafficking night workers. The Nigerian boys in Ghana here pay dues to their King. He is like their god in Ghana. So the fact is that any problem they go through, they go to him”.
He boldly added, “Don’t forget they know how to do this business. He has been able to parade himself among all the big men in Ghana, showing himself in every gathering and dressing and walking. He has even met the former president, he has met the current president, he has met the Asantehene, and he has met a lot of people. He has gone to visit them”.
However, Eze Jude Chukwudi Ihenetu has responded to Hassan Ayariga’s human trafficking claims.
Eze Jude Chukwudi Ihenetu, addressing the media, stated, “I want to let Hassan Ayariga know that a leader does not talk like that; you cannot say anything that you have no evidence of. When you are talking to the public, say what is real and don’t paint somebody wrongly.
It is so cheap for him to say I am a woman trafficker. I have asked him to put that evidence together, and a time will come when he will let me know how he said I am a human trafficker.
If indeed he has a quality to be the president of the country, this alone has disqualified him, because it is wrong information”.
Eze Jude Chukwudi Ihenetu further responded to claims of acquiring lands in Ningo Prampram or anywhere in Ghana for an Igbo kingdom
He further stated, “ I have no piece of land acquired in Ningo Prampram or anywhere in Ghana for an Igbo kingdom. It was so bad for some bloggers to misinterpret the vision, and they said we want to build an Igbo Kingdom in Ghana, which is a 100 per cent lie.
If you go back to that video, what I said was Igbo village; the interpretation of village is different from the Kingdom. I have no plans to build any kingdom in Ghana”.
