The Ghana Police Service has announced that Ablekuma North violence perpetrators will soon be arrested.
According to the Accra Regional Police Command, they have launched investigations into the Ablekuma North rerun violence.
Superintendent Juliana Obeng emphasised that they are examining several videos capturing assaults and disturbances.
The police revealed that the assaulted victims have been issued Police Medical Report Forms.
Superintendent Juliana Obeng, Head of Public Affairs for the Accra Region, in a statement, wrote, “The Command has progressed to obtain statements from complainants and witnesses to aid in the ongoing investigations”.
“We encourage the public to cooperate with the Police and share any credible information by contacting us on emergency numbers 18555 or 191,” the statement added.

A group of unidentified men stormed the Methodist church polling centre, disrupting the process and creating chaos.
The machomen stormed the polling station in a coordinated manner, causing panic among voters and electoral officials.
The former lawmaker Hawa Koomson was assaulted.
In a viral video of the chaotic scene, Hawa Koomson was kicked in the groin and fell to the ground with the thugs kicking her on the ground until the police intervened.
Despite the number of police officers at the scene, they were unable to prevent the chaos.
In a different place, NPP’s Chris Lloyd Nii Kwei Asamoah was also assaulted.
Banahene Agyekum, a journalist with GH One Television, was also slapped during the re-run of the parliamentary elections in Ablekuma North.
