Malik Basintale, the acting Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Employment Agency, has tackled a popular media personality, Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah.
Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah had earlier warned Malik Basintale to check his behaviour, as it would hurt him when power changes in future.
Okatakyie noted that Malik Basintale has a strong influence within the NDC.
He, however, cautioned him about his reckless behaviour.
Speaking on his “For the Records” show, Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah stated, “You are a young man, and you must stop fooling.
“Otherwise, power will change hands, and you will be so sorry. When you have political power, you behave as if the whole world belongs to you”, he added.
However, Malik Basintale, responding to Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah’s comments, responded in the Dagomba language.
According to the Basintale boy, a proud Dagomba doesn’t take his State institutions.
He revealed that Dagomba resolved their issues on the street.
Malik Basintale stated, “There is saying that a truthful, indigenous and proud Dagomba doesn’t take his issues to the police station or the court. He makes sure that the issues are resolved on the street.
“With Allah, when we get there, everything shall be fine.”
Meanwhile, the minority in parliament are demanding the removal of Dr Hannah Bissiw-Kotei and Malik Basintale for allegedly endorsing violence during the Ablekuma North election re-run.
According to the minority, the two government appointees celebrated and endorsed the violence that happened at the Ablekuma North rerun.
The minority cited Dr. Bisiw-Kotei’s remark, which stated, “violence begets violence”, and also Malik Basintale’s post on Facebook saying, “Flying Python and appoint him to head a 5K Air Force.”
