The Despite Group has rubbished the former member of parliament for Assin Central and NPP flagbearer hopeful, Kennedy Agyapong, claims that his sister was involved in the interior decoration of the Despite Auto Museum launch.
According to the Despite Group, the program’s decor was handled by professional designers and contractors.
In a viral video, Kennedy Agyapong was captured with a group of students and told them the role his sister played in the interior design for the launch of the Despite automobile museum.
Kennedy Agyapong stated, “My younger sister, Betty, when you tell her let’s go to school, she will fall sick for over one week. She dropped out in elementary form three,” he said.
“Recently, when Mr Despite unveiled his new house with a museum, can you believe that the interior decoration was done by my sister, who never attended a university. The lighting and all that was needed were done by my sister,” he added.
However, Ghanaian blogger Eugene Osafo-Nkansah, commonly known as Nkonkonsa, has stated that Kennedy Agyapong’s claims were misleading.
According to Nkonkonsa, Kennedy Agypapong’s sister was invited to the event, but was not involved in the interior design or any other architectural aspects of the project.
He stated, “A reliable source within the Despite Group has informed NKONKONSA.com that this claim is inaccurate.
While Kennedy’s sister was indeed invited to attend the museum’s launch event, she was not involved in the interior design or any other architectural aspects of the project, as speculated by her brother”.
