A video has surfaced of an Uber driver and passenger in a serious exchange of insults.

The lady and an Uber driver were involved in a serious altercation by the roadside after she boarded a ride from Living Room Restaurant to Amasaman in Accra.

According to the lady, the disagreement began when the driver refused to follow her preferred route, despite both her directions and the Uber app suggesting it.

Instead, the driver opted for a longer route without explanation.

Midway through the trip, the vehicle broke down unexpectedly.

The driver then ended the ride, with the fare showing GHS107, just a few cedis short of the original GHS115 expected for the full journey.

When she protested and refused to pay the full amount for an incomplete trip, the driver became aggressive.

She said the driver hurled insults at her, body-shamed her, called her a prostitute, and nearly became physically violent.
