A video has surfaced of a gold buyer, Kwabena Amos, who has commended the Central North Police Command for their swift and tactical response during a violent armed robbery at his residence.
The information gathered suggests the robbery incident happened in Assin Ntowkrom near Sienchem in the Assin North District.
Reports suggest, Amos was attacked around midnight by five armed men wielding a pump-action gun and machetes.
He sustained serious injuries, including a deep cut and trauma to his right eye, after being struck with a gun barrel.
His brother narrowly escaped a gunshot, which they believe was due to divine protection.
According to reports, the police responded promptly to a distress call, engaged the robbers in a gunfight, and arrested three suspects.
A manhunt is underway for the remaining assailants.
Speaking in a viral video, Kwabena Amos stated, “I want to tell the Police that thank you, what you people did is more than my understanding, I did not expect you to show up that time. I respect the police; they have done a good job. They are also humans going out there at night chasing after armed robbers, what if they are also killed? I thank them, God bless them”.
