A tragic accident has claimed the lives of three students and a taxi driver.
The information gathered suggests the incident happened at Natwibuw on the Winneba-Apam highway in the Central Region.
Reports suggest the fatal accident happened around 4 pm on Monday.
The three students have been identified as students from Uncle Rich and St. Paul basic schools.
According to reports, they were returning home from school when a car collided with the taxi they were on board.
An eyewitness account details, a Toyota Rav 4 registered GN 5507-18 collided head-on with the taxi cab also registered CR 748-20.
One student and the taxi driver died on the spot, while two others died while on admission at the Trauma and Specialist Hospital in Winneba.
Meanwhile, two other students survived and are receiving treatment.
