An old video has surfaced showing the young lady who was reportedly shot dead by her boyfriend at Yeji brandishing the same gun allegedly used in the incident.
In the video, the deceased is seen with her boyfriend and some friends, during which she is captured brandishing the weapon.
The young lady who was fatally shot in Seker, a suburb of the Pru East District was killed by a Ghanaian TikToker, Hayford Boateng, commonly known as GH Kobby.
The information gathered suggests the tragic incident happened around 3:00 pm on June 10.
According to reports, the young lady in her 20s was shot by his boyfriend after they visited the village with two other friends.
Reports indicate the victim sustained a gunshot wound to her left arm.
A vehicle was intercepted by the police reportedly fleeing the scene. The victim was rushed to St. Martin’s Hospital in Yeji but succumbed to her injuries shortly after arriving at the hospital.
The culprit has been identified as Hayford Boateng, 31, the boyfriend.
Hayford Boateng, 31 is in custody together with his two friends, Kojo Emmanuel, 28, and Michael Kabutey, 34.
Meanwhile, the Yeji police command has initiated an investigation.
