Martin Kpebu emphasised Dr Bawumia will be 69-year-old president in 2032 and the Gen Z and Gen Alpha voters are not going to rally behind that.

Speaking on TV3 on Saturday Martin Kpebu detailed, “When you look at the way the party is pushing Bawumia forward, it signals that they want the grassroots to just play along. It’s a calculated attempt to preserve the system that benefits the elite”.

“Who wants a 69-year-old president in 2032? The Gen Z and Gen Alpha voters are not going to rally behind that,” he asserted.

He further claimed the NPP fielding Dr Bawumia in the 2028 election will be a walk in the park for the NDC, “It would be a walk in the park for the NDC”, he boldly stated.

Meanwhile, Sammi Awuku, a Member of Parliament for Akuapim North has stated that former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia presents NPP with a very good opportunity to win the 2028.

According to Sammi Awuku, he has strong confidence in Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s ability to lead the NPP.

The lawmaker asserted that he believes in Bawumia’s personal achievements records, and character.

Speaking on CITI Eyewitness News Sammi Awuku stated, “I believe Dr. Bawumia presents us with a very good opportunity to win 2028”

“Some of us are of the unshaken belief that the difficulties we faced as a government over the last four years — the post-COVID era, economies around the world in turmoil, the global shocks and all — Dr. Bawumia did a good job.”

Awuku added, “He stood in the gap for the NPP, and I believe in his personal achievement and records, his character, and the strength of his character, and the integrity that he also has”.
