A young Ghanaian man has been arrested for threatening to shoot police officers.
Reports gathered suggest the man was arrested after earlier threatening to shoot police officers if they stopped him for a random search in town.
The man, who was halted in an Uber for a routine check, has reportedly been apprehended and taken into custody.
Some Ghanaians have reacted to the video, saying, I knew this guy would go down. In the actual encounter with the police on the routine search, the excuse he gave not to consent to the search was that the police officer wasn’t wearing gloves 😂😂😂. I’m like WTF and then he proceeded to make a video saying he will shoot next time😂”.
“Mental illness is real. No one in their right mind would do what he did”, another stated.
One more X user stated, “Threatening police officers is a serious offence. It will over him”.
“So when will @GhPoliceService apprehend Anne Sansa Daly?? Anaa gye sɛ dɔkta in Twi ba mu?, another netizen quizzed.
Additionally, another Ghanaian stated, “I strongly condemn his actions, but why do I feel the law was made for just the poor or less privileged? We all saw sitting MP attack a police officer live on TV and nothing has been done to him”.
“People act hard until they come face-to-face with real consequences. Threats sound loud online, but when the law steps in, that’s when you see who they truly are. Looking at him, he was just a woman in a man’s dress”, one more netizen wrote.
