President John Dramani Mahama has nominated, veteran actress Kalsoume Sinare and 14 others in his first batch of envoys.
Kalsoume Sinare has been nominated to serve as Ghana’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain.
A letter dated June 10, 2025, from the Office of the President to the Minister of Foreign Affairs revealed the nominations follow consultations with the Council of State and are the first batch of envoys appointed since President John Mahama assumed office in January 2025.
Also, a seasoned politician and former MP for La Dadekotopon Nii Amasah Namoale has been nominated to represent Ghana in Brazil as Ambassador.
Former NDC flagbearer hopeful, Kojo Bonsu has also been appointed to serve as Ghana ambassador to China.

Theresah Adjei-Mensah – Czech Republic
Prof. Kwasi Obiri-Danso – India
Dora Francisca Edu-Buandoh, Ph.D. – Canada
Dr. Margaret Miewien Chebere – Austria
Labik Joseph Yaani – Equatorial Guinea
Captain George Kofi Nojoh – Togolese Republic
Dr. Felix Kumah Godwin Anebo – Republic of Senegal
