Suzzy Pinamang’s brother, as he and his sister express profound gratitude to the Engineers and Planners CEO, Ibrahim Mahama, for fully funding Suzzy’s eye surgery in the UK, which has restored her vision.
Suzzy faced the camera for the first time after the successful operation.
Speaking in a viral video, Suzzy Pinamang stated, “Mr. Ibrahim Mahama is not a politician. He is a gift from God to Ghana”.
“Yes, she can see now. God has chosen good people to help us, but because of politics, we often overlook them or twist their intentions.”
“We have good people in this country. God has specially selected some to help us. Let’s not turn everything into politics,” he said.
Suzzy Pinamang, a student of Adventist Senior High School in Bantama, who was shot in the face by a fellow student in the classroom, is gradually losing her sight.
On Friday, April 4, 2025, following an argument among students over the functionality of a firearm allegedly in the possession of Bernard Amoabeng, a form 2 student.
The disagreement escalated into a shooting, injuring two students. Amoabeng is currently in police custody.
One of the victims, identified as Penamang, sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH).
