A man identified as Kwaku Bright who was caught in a stealing attempt was made to confess his sins and further repent.
Reports suggest the thief was caught around 1:15 a.m. after forcibly entering a home and was reportedly found with some weapons.
He was later encouraged to confess his sins by residents who apprehended him and prevented a mob attack.
In a viral video shared on social media platform X, Kwaku Bright stated, “I will not steal anymore. Stealing is not good. When you are caught, you could be beaten or even killed. I am very sad.”
The man was later urged to surrender his life to Christ, “I, Kwaku Bright, accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and personal saviour. So help me God”, the thief stated.
Meanwhile, Bright was later handed over to a police, who transported him to the police station for processing and custody.
Some Ghanaians have reacted to the video by saying, “ Chale the way this nigga they over sweat if them put am for mortuary fridge Anor sure the sweat go cool o”.
“One thief Dey my area, he has given his life to Christ over 70×7 times but still krɔno naaa”, another stated.
Additionally, one more X user stated, “This country ankasa we get something to laugh about always. Last time them catch thief them beat am give am energy drink for round 2 beatings. Today too them beat thief make he give his life to Christ”.
