Reports suggest a father has prevented his daughter from sitting for the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).

According to reports, the father shockingly prevented the daughter from writing BECE over the death prophecy.

EDHUB in a post on X, stated,  Father prevents daughter from writing BECE after pastor reveals she would die if she sat for the exams”.

603,328 candidates across the country are set to sit the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), scheduled from Wednesday, June 11, to Wednesday, June 18, 2025.

The 297,250 males and 306,078 females are the first batch of students seeking to benefit from the Free Senior High School (FSHS) Policy under the new government.

Meanwhile, some Ghanaians have reacted to the news by saying, “ There’s so many of em that got mad during exams so I’m not surprised”.

“Mese after COVID everyone is not well in this country.🤣🤣🤣 Kyrɛsɛ 1 minute bia na gyimiifuor nam mu”, another stated.

“If ibi me..aa like I go say ” I rebuke it in the name of Jesus” and move on right away🙌”, one user stated.
