A netizen has boldly declared that the bodyguard of the 2024 presidential candidate for the New Force, Nana Kwame Bediako, popularly known as Cheddar must be arrested.
His declaration comes after a viral video surfaced of the bodyguard punching a man at the funeral of the late Mamponghene.
The netizen on X wrote, “Cheddar’s bodyguard must be arrested 👀@GhPoliceService do the needful”.
Nana Kwame Bediako was at the funeral of the later Daasebre Osei Bonsu II, the Mamponghene and Krontihene of Asanteman whose burial was on June 6, 2025.
In the viral video shared on X, Cheddar was spotted entering a house with his entourage, a man who was also a mourner was spotted standing near the gate.
The bodyguard grabbed the man by the neck and delivered several punches, causing the man to fall to the ground.
The bodyguard then proceeded to follow his boss Cheddar.
However, it is unclear what exactly initiated the physical altercation.
Meanwhile, some Ghanaians have reacted to the video by saying, “At first I thought it was Appiah Stadium oo. Like some agenda boys go troll am ruff.
But on the real, this does not need the interference of the Police. The security personnel is doing his job, you don’t cross that line else you gon’ get hit 😅. It’s simple !!!”
Another stated, “E go be a life-changing story for the man 😂💀 Cheddar see’s this next thing he attends to him , pay his bills and give him some extra funds to take care of things .😂”.
A netizen stated, “ This is totally wrong, this is assault, that man should lawyer up and sue,If anything the police has to get involved”.
One more netizen stated, “Nana Kwame Bediako Cheddar and the whole New Force family need to issue a public statement of apology and get the bodyguard referred to the police asap!”.
