Kissi Agyebeng revealed that the former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta has not provided any medical report to justify his health conditions.

According to Kissi Agyebeng, from January 24 till now, Mr Ofori-Atta has not produced any medical report.

Speaking to the media on Monday, June 2, Kissi Agyebeng stated, “From January 24 till now, Mr Ofori-Atta has not produced any medical report. From March to May. He said he was going to have a surgical operation in March… After accommodating him, he never bothered to tell OSP that there had been a fundamental change in your condition.

“Therefore, the OSP views Mr Ofori-Atta’s lawyers’ letter dated 28 May 2025 as an expression of utter bad faith on the part of Mr Ofori-Atta, and it confirms our long-held well-considered opinion and conclusion that Mr Ofori-Atta has no intention of voluntarily returning to the jurisdiction and to attend the OSP,” he said.

Reacting to the OSP claims on Citi Eyewitness News, Frank Davis stated, “I have said, time without number, that, for the OSP to say that he hasn’t sighted that medical report is a blatant falsehood, and it is unfortunate that he is holding such a public office”.

“The processes that were filed in court on May 27, 2025, pursuant to the application that was heard by the court on May 28, the medical report was in the bond that was served on the special prosecutor. Unless he doesn’t read his court processes thoroughly,” he added.

He added, “So, for him to come and say that he hasn’t seen any medical report is a blatant falsehood. And as an officer of the court, I find it distressing.”

In a related story, the OSP also rubbished an alleged medical report circulating suggesting Ken Ofori-Atta, is medically unfit to travel.

The OSP in a statement categorically stated that to date no certified medical records or official documents from any hospital authority have been submitted to their office.

Meanwhile, Ken Ofori-Atta has been listed on Interpol’s official website Wanted”.

This development comes after the  Office of the Special Prosecutor declared Ken Ofori-Atta wanted and a fugitive of justice, triggering an INTERPOL Red Notice for his extradition to Ghana.
