Nana Yaw Sarpong a communication team member of the Movement for Change has called out the New Patriotic Party over their double standards concerning the acting CEO of the GoldBod Sammy Gyamfi.
The Movement for Change member noted that the NPP said nothing when their Ashanti regional chairman Bernard Antwi Bosiako flaunted gold bars live on TV.
His comment comes following pressure being mounted on Sammy Gyamfi after a video surfaced of him gifting fetish priestess now pastor Patricia Asiedua, commonly known as Nana Agradaa some huge sums of dollars.
Speaking on JOY Prime, Nana Yaw Sarpong stated, “When a Regional Chairman has gone onto National Television and picked up his bag and put bars of gold on the table, displaying for all Ghanaians to see and you have not spoken you have not got the right, not the moral right to speak at this time.
Let us the ordinary Ghanaians speak, how much was dashed out to Agradaa you want to compare this one… , the person involved on the other side is a mother so mentioning her name becomes a problem”.
He further called out the person equating Sammy Gyamfi gifting out dollars to Agradaa to the Cecilia Dapaah stolen money.
“But for the purpose of this discussion, you want to compare whatever Sammy Gyamfi dash out from his pocket to Agradaa to monies that were packed in somebody’s room that was stolen over the years and months. Monies were packed and the beneficiaries were able to build houses and give some to their boyfriend”, Nana Yaw Sarpong added.
Meanwhile, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has accused the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board, Sammy Gyamfi of being driven in a 2025 Range Rover Autobiography valued at $350,000.
According to the NPP, Sammy Gyamfi is flaunting opulence and leading an ostentatious lifestyle.
Henry Nana Boakye also alleged that Sammy Gyamfi uses US dollars instead of the Ghanaian cedi daily.
