Prophet Ebenezer Adarkwa Yiadom, popularly known as Opambour, the Founder of the Ebenezer Miracle Worship Centre has waded into the Sammy Gyamfi dollar gift brouhaha to fetish priestess-turned-evangelist, Patricia Asiedua commonly known as Nana Agradaa.
Opambour noted that the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board, Sammy Gyamfi in opposition never shared dollars and quizzed where he got the dollars from.
According to Opambour, if Sammy Gyamfi is now sharing dollars it will be assumed that he has stolen state funds.
Sammy Gyamfi has come under serious scrutiny after a video surfaced of him gifting fetish priestess now pastor Patricia Asiedua, commonly known as Nana Agradaa some huge sums of dollars.
In the viral video shared on social media platform X Sammy Gyamfi was spotted standing beside his white Range Rover, taking a photo with Nana Agradaa.
After a brief conversation between the two Sammy Gyamfi proceeded to sit in his car.
Sammy Gyamfi in the vehicle was seen counting several notes of US dollars.
Nana Agradaa upon seeing Sammy Gyamfi count the dollars insisted that he hand over all the notes instead of giving her just some.
She later grabbed all the money from his hands and, walking away, flaunted the huge sums of US dollars to bystanders, saying, “I have taken dollars from Sammy Gyamfi.”
Speaking on the issue, Prophet One questioned why Sammy Gyamfi said, “You have never shared dollars—today, where did you get the dollars from? People may think that you have also started embezzling state funds.
Meanwhile, it could be a gift from someone. But how many people will know that it is your own money?”.
“If you are sharing dollars now that you have a government appointment, it will be assumed that you have stolen state funds. Sammy Gyamfi has to be very careful. I am not even worried about the car he drove to the event; I am more concerned about the money.
He should not repeat that mistake again. People want to occupy that office, and he should know that he is not the only person who deserves to be there.”
Meanwhile, reports suggest that Julius Debrah, the Chief of Staff has summoned the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board, Sammy Gyamfi over a viral video of him gifting evangelist and former fetish priestess Nana Agradaa huge sums of dollars.
The information gathered suggests Sammy Gyamfi has been ordered to appear before the Chief of Staff to explain the circumstances surrounding the transaction.
The Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah had earlier warned government appointees there shall never be any excuse whatsoever when an appointee crosses the line.
According to Julius Debrah, appointees must comply with the newly introduced Code of Conduct by President John Dramani Mahama, and warn that any breaches will not be tolerated.
