However President Mahama could not sit still anymore when his favorite musician, NaCee jumped unto the stage to deliver some amazing tunes to entertain all present.

Nacee did a good job infusing some of the fulfilled promises President Mahama made during the campaign ahead of the December 7, 2024 elections.

He reiterated that President Mahama has scrapped the e-levy, betting tax and launched the Black Star Experience as promised.

The dance floor got crowded as others joined the president on the dance floor.

Government has unveiled its landmark initiative, The Blackstar Experience, a bold and dynamic movement aimed at rebranding the country’s cultural, arts, and tourism industries.

The launch, which took place on May 1, 2025, at the iconic Freedom and Justice Monument at Blackstar Square, marked the beginning of a nationwide effort to redefine Ghana’s identity and position it among the world’s top cultural destinations.

The event, attended by government officials, creative industry stakeholders, and international dignitaries, underscored Ghana’s ambition to align its brand reputation with 20 of the world’s most esteemed country brands.

According to Rex Owusu Marfo, the Coordinator of the Blackstar Experience, this project goes beyond tourism; it is a movement of cultural reawakening.

“Ghana has long been celebrated for its hospitality, history, and dynamic cultural expressions—from the rhythmic beat of its music to the captivating stories of its ancestors. The Blackstar Experience invites the world to feel the soul of Ghana.”

The Experience is structured around seven key pillars: cinema, audio, cuisines, aesthetics, style, literature, and heritage.
