An old video has surfaced of Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) shockingly accusing then canidate John Dramani Mahama of bonking his house help.
According to Chairman Wontumi, Lordina Mahama will never vote for John Mahama because she caught him bonking her house help.
Wontumi further claimed that because of that Lordina Mahama was nowhere to be seen during the campaign season with Mahama now using his daughter Farida.
Chairman Wontumi in the old video speaking on his station Wontumi TV stated, “Lordina Mahama will never vote for her husband, what is even more shocking is that he is using his female daughter, Farida, someone will catch her and next, he will realize if you have a female daughter you have to hide her.
He is using his female daughter instead of going to beg his wife, what I even heard was that his maid, Lordina Mahama maid that she lives with when Lordina went to the market came to meet Mahama and the maid in bed”.
He continued, “Look at the second lady Samira Bawumia you can see her everywhere. The first lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo you can see her everywhere, but today Naana Opoku Agyaman you can even see her husband and you will not even see Mahama’s wife so they have already lost the election”.
Meanwhile, the National Investigations Bureau (NIB) and the Ghana Police Service on Friday, May 23, 2025, stormed the residence of Chairman Wontumi to effect an arrest.
According to reports, the NIB has withdrawn its men following NPP supporters massing up at Wontumi’s residence.
Reports suggest the NIB left following an order for them to immediately withdraw all officers from the scene.
The reason for the National security presence remains unclear.
The atmosphere has since calmed but the NPP supporters continue to maintain a presence around the residence.
Chairman Wontumi in an earlier interview quizzed President John Dramani Mahama about why he froze his accounts.
According to Wontumi, he never served under Akufo-Addo’s administration, so why is the Mahama government attacking him?
Chairman Wontumi cried out that the way the Mahama government was handling him was not right.
He claimed that the John Mahama government personally hated him and accused him wrongly.
