A resident of Techiman has called out staff of the Holy Family Hospital over allegedly leaving patients unattended over claims their shifts had ended.
According to the man, the hospital staff claimed their shifts had ended other staff members who were supposed to replace them were not in yet.
The residents called out staff of the Holy Family Hospital in Techiman over alleged disregard for patients and medical negligence after they were reportedly left unattended to by personnel nearing the end of their shift.
The man speaking in the viral video stated, “Ghana Health Service, they are all saying their shift had ended, so they have all left the office, those who are supposed to replace the other shift are not in yet and they have also left the office.
There are many sick people also waiting at the Hospital”.
Some Ghanaians have reacted to the video by saying, “ Apart from Mampong Hospital and some hospitals in Kumasi, the rest are useless. They can be discussing Indian TV series while patients wait, and you dare not complain”.
“That place too be another eye sore waa. Was once there and it happens often. Mr. Health Minister over to you”, another stated.
One netizen wrote, “When you are sick is the only time you know some personnel’s are there for just the money not because you are sick….. they don’t care what happens to you”.
“If health stormed there right now and start giving it to them it Is you guys norr that will come and take shit about it so let it bee”, additionally another stated.
