Kofi Adoma Nwanwani the host and CEO of KOFI TV and Radio has revealed he can now see.
According to him, his eyes are not like they used to be but can now see if one is standing before him.
Kofi Adoma added that he is now able to help himself, and is grateful for where the Lord has brought him and also grateful to Ghanaians.
Speaking in a video Kofi Adoma narrated, “Today is just to say thank you, but as I have said, I won’t leave any issue unanswered. Whatever needs to be done will be done because what I went through, at a point, I felt it was my end. I felt that it could have been my death because someone was shot in the leg at Teshie Nungua, and she died.
Mine was in the face, and when you look at the scans that were conducted, as I speak now, there are still particles in there, which they say I have to live with for a period,” he stated.
Kofi Adomah further revealed, “Now I can say that, while my eyes are not like they used to be, I can now see you if you are standing before me. I can read messages. When the text is small, I can take a screenshot and zoom in to read. So, I am able to help myself, and I am grateful for where the Lord has brought me. I am very grateful to Ghanaians,” he said.
He further went on to thank Ibrahim Mahama for his support during the time he suffered an eye injury.
According to Kofi Adoma, he has known Ibrahim Mahama for a while and acknowledged his consistent generosity toward others, even before extending help to him.
He added that the consistent generosity of the Managing Director of Engineers & Planners highlights his genuine character.
Kofi Adoma noted that although he’s unaware of his future plans, he would be pleased if Ibrahim Mahama chose to enter politics.
He further revealed that Ibrahim Mahama took the initiative to reach out and offer assistance throughout his recovery process.
Kofi Adoma’s injury occurred in December 2024, during the Kwafie Festival, which also marked the climax of the 25th-anniversary celebration of Dormaahene Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyeman Badu II.
During the traditional firing of musketry, one of the shots reportedly struck him in the face, leaving one eye seriously damaged and in need of urgent surgical attention.
