The NDC has a ridiculous attitude and is ungrateful to Ghanaians. John Mahama should come and provide the small chicks he promised quickly to the youth”, he added.

The Ghana School Feeding Programme, in an official statement dated May 2, 2025 announced the immediate termination of contracts for all caterers engaged under the initiative across the country.

The statement read, “Please be informed that contracts of all caterers of the Ghana School Feeding Programme (GSFP) nationwide have been terminated with immediate effect. Accordingly, no existing caterer on the programme should cook for the third term of the 2024/2025 academic year”.

“All outstanding arrears for the second term of the 2024/2025 academic year will be paid in due course,”

“As part of its ongoing restructuring exercise, the GSFP Secretariat will soon announce the modalities for the recruitment of new caterers”, it added.

Meanwhile, it has been alleged that popular Ghanaian actress Vivian Jill is caught in an NDC row over a school feeding contract.

Reports suggest Vivian Jill has been threatened following being awarded a school feeding contractor in Ahafo Ano South Constituency of the Ashanti Region.

An audio recording circulating online identified as a National Women’s Organiser of the NDC warned the actress, “I’ve told Vivian Jill herself that she will face my wrath if she comes here to fulfil the contract. I will cut off her hands or any other person she sends here to prepare the food”.
