Reports suggest that Julius Debrah, the Chief of Staff has summoned the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board, Sammy Gyamfi over a viral video of him gifting evangelist and former fetish priestess Nana Agradaa huge sums of dollars.
Sammy Gyamfi has come under serious scrutiny after a video surfaced of him gifting fetish priestess now pastor Patricia Asiedua, commonly known as Nana Agradaa some huge sums of dollars.
In the viral video shared on social media platform X Sammy Gyamfi was spotted standing beside his white Range Rover, taking a photo with Nana Agradaa.
After a brief conversation between the two Sammy Gyamfi proceeded to sit in his car.
Sammy Gyamfi in the vehicle was seen counting several notes of US dollars.
Nana Agradaa upon seeing Sammy Gyamfi count the dollars insisted that he hand over all the notes instead of giving her just some.
She later grabbed all the money from his hands and, walking away, flaunted the huge sums of US dollars to bystanders, saying, “I have taken dollars from Sammy Gyamfi.”
The information gathered suggests Sammy Gyamfi has been ordered to appear before the Chief of Staff to explain the circumstances surrounding the transaction.
The Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah had earlier warned government appointees there shall never be any excuse whatsoever when an appointee crosses the line.
According to Julius Debrah, appointees must comply with the newly introduced Code of Conduct by President John Dramani Mahama, and warn that any breaches will not be tolerated.
Meanwhile, Sammy Gyamfi has issued a public apology for his indiscretion.
According to Sammy Gyamfi, he is sincerely sorry for the unfortunate act of indiscretion.
He revealed that the dollars gifted to Nana Agradaa are his daily and life-long custom of lending to people in need.

This is unacceptable! Sammy Gyamfi and the appointees should not erode the goodwill Ghanaians have for MAHAMA with their indiscretions. Nana Agradaa should be far away from the govt. It’s a warning. pic.twitter.com/FtAF2kp80a
