The Assin South Member of Parliament, Rev Ntim Fordjour has fired shots at the acting Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board Sammy Gyamfi over a viral video of him gifting Nana Agradaa dollars.
According to the member of parliament, in just 120 days in office, the NDC are arrogantly and opulently sharing dollars in public.
In a post on X, he wrote, “In just 120 days they’re arrogantly and opulently sharing dollars 💵 in public, having stashed millions of cocaine dollars under their beds. These are people who have never worked a day in their lives in any company.
They are displaying ultra-expensive phones and tablets on set; which worth can build classroom blocks in their constituency”.
He added, “They’ve suddenly acquired and driving around $450,000 Range Rover Autobiography in less than 120 days in office. Yet all these are being done on the back of ‘toothless’ Code of Conduct which cannot and will not be applied.
Yet, hungry NDC fanatics, sleeping in Dumsor heat and enduring rising cost of living in just 120 days, will be spewing nonfa on social media platforms with their 1ghc data.
You worked, they’re chopping! You must demand accountability from your opulent appointees”.
In the viral video shared on social media platform X Sammy Gyamfi was spotted standing beside his white Range Rover, taking a photo with Nana Agradaa.
After a brief conversation between the two Sammy Gyamfi proceeded to sit in his car.
Sammy Gyamfi in the vehicle was seen counting several notes of US dollars.
Nana Agradaa upon seeing Sammy Gyamfi count the dollars insisted that he hand over all the notes instead of giving her just some.
She later grabbed all the money from his hands and, walking away, flaunted the huge sums of US dollars to bystanders, saying, “I have taken dollars from Sammy Gyamfi.”
Meanwhile, Sammy Gyamfi has issued a public apology for his indiscretion.
According to Sammy Gyamfi, he is sincerely sorry for the unfortunate act of indiscretion.
He revealed that the dollars gifted to Nana Agradaa are his daily and life-long custom of lending to people in need.
