Nana Ama Agyemang a former morning show host has stated if the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and John Mahama are serious about resetting the country she expects Sammy Gyamfi fired.
Sammy Gyamfi has come under serious scrutiny after a video surfaced of him gifting fetish priestess now pastor Patricia Asiedua, commonly known as Nana Agradaa some huge sums of dollars.
In the viral video shared on social media platform X Sammy Gyamfi was spotted standing beside his white Range Rover, taking a photo with Nana Agradaa.
After a brief conversation between the two Sammy Gyamfi proceeded to sit in his car.
Sammy Gyamfi in the vehicle was seen counting several notes of US dollars.
Nana Agradaa upon seeing Sammy Gyamfi count the dollars insisted that he hand over all the notes instead of giving her just some.
She later grabbed all the money from his hands and, walking away, flaunted the huge sums of US dollars to bystanders, saying, “I have taken dollars from Sammy Gyamfi.”
Nana Ama Agyemang in a post on X wrote, “Can someone call me as soon as@GhanaPresidency releases a statement, not just condemning Sammy Gyamfi’s actions but also outlining real, tangible sanctions that we, the people, can follow? If they’re serious about resetting, I expect JM to fire him”.
Meanwhile, Sammy Gyamfi has issued a public apology for his indiscretion.
According to Sammy Gyamfi, he is sincerely sorry for the unfortunate act of indiscretion.
He revealed that the dollars gifted to Nana Agradaa are his daily and life-long custom of lending to people in need.
Sammy Gyamfi in his apology to Ghanaians wrote, “ Folks, I have taken notice of the wave of criticisms against my person in the last 24 hours.
To clarify, this was simply a kind gesture to a fellow human being, in line with my daily and life-long custom of lending a helping hand to people in need.
I sincerely thought that I was doing this act of kindness in private, and never imagined that same could find its way into the public space. That is unfortunate and regrettable”.
He added, “ I must say that, I understand the uproar that this gesture has generated, particularly from comrades who are sincerely hurt by same. To all such comrades, I AM SINCERELY SORRY for this unfortunate act of indiscretion. I respect and appreciate your views.
My profound appreciation goes to all those who have reached out to counsel and encourage me. I’m most grateful for your solidarity”.

This is unacceptable! Sammy Gyamfi and the appointees should not erode the goodwill Ghanaians have for MAHAMA with their indiscretions. Nana Agradaa should be far away from the govt. It’s a warning. pic.twitter.com/FtAF2kp80a
