Evangelist Mama Pat, popularly known as Nana Agradaa the founder and leader of Heaven Way Church has vowed to sell her church building and give half of the money to the acting CEO of the Goldbod Sammy Gyamfi to start a business if he is sacked from office for gifting her $800.
Sammy Gyamfi has come under serious scrutiny after a video surfaced of him gifting fetish priestess now pastor Patricia Asiedua, commonly known as Nana Agradaa some huge sums of dollars.
Speaking in a self-record video Agradaa stated, “Some senior NDC party members are jealous of Sammy Gyamfi’s position and want to use this act of kindness – the $800 gift he gave me as a reason to get him sacked.
I swear on my mantle, anointing oil, and Bible that I will sell my church building, divide the proceeds into two, and give Sammy Gyamfi half the amount to start a business.”
However, Sammy Gyamfi has since issued a public apology for his indiscretion.
According to Sammy Gyamfi, he is sincerely sorry for the unfortunate act of indiscretion.
He revealed that the dollars gifted to Nana Agradaa are his daily and life-long custom of lending to people in need.
“Folks, I have taken notice of the wave of criticisms against my person in the last 24 hours. To clarify, this was simply a kind gesture to a fellow human being, in line with my daily and life-long custom of lending a helping hand to people in need.
I sincerely thought that I was doing this act of kindness in private and never imagined that same could find its way into the public space. That is unfortunate and regrettable,” he stated.
Meanwhile, some Ghanaians have reacted to the ongoing brouhaha saying, “ How did say gyamfi gifting agraadaa $800 become a national issue in this country? What a joke 🤦🏾♂️where in our constitution does ot prohibit or make it illegal for public office holders to give individuals gift or money? If its bad lets put it in there and make it a law erh 🤷🏽♂️”.
“This woman is even making the issue worse. She should just be quiet and stay away from the issue. I don’t think if it was anyone else there would have been an issue”, another stated.
One more netizen stated, “i don’t even get why this is even an issue. so you people are telling me someone who works and earn his own money cannot dash someone else money? how much is $800. this country paa🤦🏾♂️”.
Additionally, another stated, “Let’s be honest,what she is saying is true,you can see they have set an agenda for Sammy gyamfi and they wanted to get a case to back it,$800 is not that huge money for the whole country to handle Sammy gyamfi in such manner,this is pure hatred and jealousy towards Sammy Gyamfi”.
