Komla Klutse, TV3’s presidential correspondent has dropped details of the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board, Sammy Gyamfi meeting with the Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah.
Reports emerged yesterday that Julius Debrah had summoned the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board, Sammy Gyamfi over a viral video of him gifting evangelist and former fetish priestess Nana Agradaa huge sums of dollars.
Sammy Gyamfi has come under serious scrutiny after a video surfaced of him gifting fetish priestess now pastor Patricia Asiedua, commonly known as Nana Agradaa some huge sums of dollars.
In the viral video shared on social media platform X Sammy Gyamfi was spotted standing beside his white Range Rover, taking a photo with Nana Agradaa.
After a brief conversation between the two Sammy Gyamfi proceeded to sit in his car.
Sammy Gyamfi in the vehicle was seen counting several notes of US dollars.
Nana Agradaa upon seeing Sammy Gyamfi count the dollars insisted that he hand over all the notes instead of giving her just some.
She later grabbed all the money from his hands and, walking away, flaunted the huge sums of US dollars to bystanders, saying, “I have taken dollars from Sammy Gyamfi.”
According to TV3’s presidential correspondent, Komla Klutse, Sammy Gyamfi, reported to the office of the Chief of Staff in the morning and was in a meeting that lasted until 11:00 AM.
Komla Klutse revealed the government has taken the issue “very, very seriously.”
He stated, “In the meeting with the Chief of Staff, he (Sammy Gyamfi) was very remorseful and was in a pensive mood. These are the few details that we’ve been able to gather.
“But the Chief of Staff has listened to him, and we get the indication that anytime soon, the public will be apprised of the decision of His Excellency the President, who himself is out of the country attending a summit of the African Union on the debt situation being faced by countries in the sub-region,” Komla Klutse added.
Meanwhile, Minister in charge of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu has stated that once the President returns, he will be briefed before any further position is communicated on the matter.
Speaking on CITI FM he stated, “We’re a government committed to governing the country differently and holding ourselves to high standards. So, we take into account the concerns raised by the public. This shows that people expect a clear departure from the free fall that occurred under the NPP administration.
“It is part of the reason the Chief of Staff took the step he has taken today [May 12]. Once the President returns, he will be briefed before any further position is communicated on the matter,” he stressed.

This is unacceptable! Sammy Gyamfi and the appointees should not erode the goodwill Ghanaians have for MAHAMA with their indiscretions. Nana Agradaa should be far away from the govt. It’s a warning. pic.twitter.com/FtAF2kp80a
