It has been revealed that Hajia4Reall is estimated to pay compensation totalling $1,387,458 to victims of the romance scam.

In February 2024, Hajia4Reall agreed to a higher compensation and punishment amount of $2,164,758.41, however, in her final sentencing in June 2024 it was adjusted to $1,387,458.

Hajia4Reall will also face three years of supervised release and will also forfeit $216,475 the proceeds she directly benefited through the scam.

Her release follows a successful completion of her jail sentence of one year and one day at a Philadelphia Prison in the US, for her involvement in a romance scam.

Hajia4Reall is expected to arrive in Ghana shortly after as proposed by her defence during her sentencing on Friday, 28th June 2024.

Hajia4Reall pleaded guilty to defrauding individuals and businesses in the United States between 2013 and 2019 and was serving a 12-month sentence at the Federal Detention Center in Philadelphia.

Her legal team, Fast Law, submitted the request on 1 November 2024, arguing that the document was necessary to begin self-deportation proceedings.

According to court records the prosecutors did not oppose the application.

The US District Judge J. Paul Oetken has now ruled in approval of the request, directing that her passport be handed over to her lawyers.

The US court ruling clears the way for Hajia4real to return to Ghana upon completing her sentence.

Hajia4Reall was sent to prison for a year and one day for her involvement in a romance scam in June 2024.

She was arrested in the UK on November 11, 2022, after participating in the Ghana Music Awards UK. Hajia4real was subsequently extradited to the US in May 2023.
