A medical doctor Dr Ntiamoah Mensah has fired shots at a member of the New Patriotic Party’s Communications Team, Dr Ekua Amoakoh over his recent comments on social media X.

According to Dr Ekua Amoakoah, medical officers under John Mahama have been left in a state of uncertainty with no clear indication of when they will be posted.

She wrote on her X page.“For the first time in years, medical officers have had to wait for one whole year at home with no sign of posting”.

Reacting to her remarks Dr Ntiamoah Mensah accused her of politicising the matter and fired her not to politicise the plight of people who were already frustrated.

“Did that one year start in January? Please don’t politicise the plight of people who are already frustrated,” she also posted.

Dr Ntiamoah Mensah added, “This politics of a thing! It’s very annoying to see people try to score points with what affects you directly. Please, let’s have reforms rather than shabby politics”.

Dr Amoakoh replied to her colleague with an insult saying, “Sadly, English comprehension is an issue for you here.

“We gave clearance on time, made post-graduate training free, and gave the most favourable conditions of service ever but we endeavour to do more.”

Dr Ntiamoah Mensah however then replied indicating she was not going to go down the tangent of insulting as she was raised better and added it regrettably Dr Ekua Amoakoh would act that way on social media.

“I won’t go on the tangent of insults. I was raised better than that. The message is simple, don’t politicise the plight of your own colleagues when you were given power and didn’t do much about it”, she wrote.
