Pastor Dr Mensa Otabil, the founder of the International Central Gospel Church has said Christianity goes beyond seeking breakthroughs.
According to the Man of God, Christianity goes beyond seeking breakthroughs, seeking favour, and seeking answers to prayer.
Speaking in a short video clip shared on his social media on X, Mensah Otabil stated, “Christianity goes beyond seeking breakthrough, seeking favour, seeking answers to prayer. Christianity is not about God giving you a child. Oh, yes, even science can give you a child.
“Christianity goes beyond having a child, having a husband, having money, having favour, having breakthroughs, paying your rent,” Pastor Otabil said in a short video clip of a sermon he shared on X on May 8, 2025.
“If that is what you’re looking for, so many people can satisfy you; rich people can satisfy you. But Jesus gives us bread that nobody else can satisfy. Because he goes beyond your immediate need to go into the deep needs of your soul, of your spirit,” he said.
Meanwhile, a Ghanaian under his post has stated, “ My concern is, why y’all preach the real gospel at the twilight of your “career”? I’ve been an ardent follower all these years, but I started seeing this sharp shift recently.
The message of Christ Jesus is SALVATION. But Pastorprenuers have made it like it’s all about MONEY”.
