The broadcaster is yet to officially announce her resignation but sources close to her indicate she has formally informed the management of Metro TV of her decision.

Bridget Otoo resigned after thanking her colleagues on their WhatsApp group page.

Meanwhile, Bridget Otoo has pleaded with President John Mahama to appoint her as the Director-General of state broadcaster, GTV for just a week.

According to her, she will use that week to shake up things at GTV.

In a post on X, she wrote, “Dear @JDMahama Could you please appoint me as DG of  @GTV_Ghana for one week? I want to do something small for there.”
