Empress Gifty Adorye, a Ghanaian gospel artiste has dragged evangelist, Patricia Asiedua, popularly known as Nana Agradaa to court.
According to documents posted on Facebook by Hopeson Adorye, the husband of the gospel artiste Empress Gifty is demanding GH₵20m in a defamation lawsuit against Agradaa at the Tema High Court.
The gospel artiste in her suit filed through her lawyers, Osei Aidoh Akpokavie and Co, at the Tema High Court on Tuesday, 20 May 2025 claimed Agradaa made four defamatory claims against her.
Agradaa in recent posts and live videos on Facebook repeatedly issued various offensive words and allegations against Empress Gifty Adorye.
On May 13, 2025, in a live broadcast, Agradaa reportedly launched a scathing attack on Mr Adorye across her social media platforms.
The ‘Watch Me’ singer was caught in the process and says she was not involved in the original dispute between the two.
Agradaa in the live video stated, “You even respect your promiscuous wife, you respect even that wife of yours who is a prostitute, your wife flirts with dogs, dogs lick your wife’s vagina, that is how she makes money to cater for you.”
“Pastors who invite your wife to sing have sexual intercourse with her in their offices before she mounts the pulpit to sing. You left your cheap prostitute wife who has sexual intercourse with pastors to attack me.”
“I’m not a toy like your wife, I have not repositioned my nose like your wife. Do not extend the foolish things you do to her to me. Your wife’s vagina has become a common eating bowl for some pastors”, she claimed.
The gospel artiste is also requesting the court for a perpetual injunction against the former fetish priestess her servants, agents, privies, and assigns howsoever from the publication of such words or any of them or similar words to that effect.
The defamation suit added, “An order for the defendant to remove all videos and audios in which she spoke words defamatory of the plaintiff from all her social media platforms, costs, including lawyers’ professional fees.”
