A viral video has surfaced of Yaw Asani Tano, the National Organiser of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), and James Kwabena Bomfeh, popularly known as Kabila, former General Secretary of the Convention People’s Party (CPP) in a heated word exchange on live radio.
According to reports the two on Accra-based Peace FM were unable to control their temper during a panel discussion which burst up with Yaw Asani Tano threatening to beat Kabila and calling him a fool.
Reports suggest the burst-up happened when Kabila accused Yaw Asani Tano of frequently switching political parties.
Yaw Asani Tano accused Kabila of telling people he was once mad, with Kabila also revealing he once gave Yaw Asani Tano money for his medication.
In a video that has since gone viral on social media, Asani Tano stated “I will beat the hell out of you for the foolish things you keep telling NPP members about me,”
Kabila stated, “Me, Kwabena Bomfeh?”
Asani Tano added, “Adomako Baafi claimed that I have gone mad before. Who the hell are you? You’ve been drinking alcohol for a long time, and it has stunted your brain’s growth. Look at your head. Why do you tell people I was once mad?”
Kabila quickly replied, “Where did you pick me up from? I had to give you money to buy your medication on one occasion.”
An infuriated Asani Tano fired back, “You are a fool! I will beat the hell out of you!”.
