A European immigrant living in Ghana has quizzed Africans who are willing to pay thousands of dollars to relocate abroad.
According to Whiteman, why won’t Africans stay in Africa to get the continent on track?
He further asked if Europe is so fantastic, why then am I in Africa?
Speaking in a self-recorded video online the white man stated, “Why is nobody talking about this, ever since I came to Africa many Africans have come to me and said they will pay me thousands of dollars for me to help them to go to Europe, I have not helped a single person and I am not going to do that”.
Ask yourself if Europe is so fantastic why am I then in Africa does that make sense if my own place is so fantastic why will be here? You are ready to pay me thousands of dollars for you to go and work hard in Europe, for you to help Europe get back on track”.
Why won’t you stay in Africa and make Africa get on track it doesn’t make sense you are an African to get on track. You are an African why don’t you want to help your own continent to grow and prosper? But you want to go to my continent and make that prosper”.
He further urged Africans to set up businesses white their thousands of dollars they are using to seek relocation abroad.
“If you have thousands of dollars for me to help you go there spend that dollar in setting up a business here in Africa, and if you need help with that I am willing to help you but I will never help you to go to Europe and suffer”, he added.
Ghanaians have reacted to the video saying, “ Africa better pass Europe? Africa be some paradise give you? We dey bab say Africa dey improve , but make nobody lie you say Europe no get better roads, opportunities, and even Wi-Fi wey dey work ! Europe still get better systems. So, if you like, make you stay here, but no try to confuse us—we go keep wanna passports ready in case the opportunities show up!”
“if we(africans)labor very hard in ur country(europe), we are adequately rewarded. De revenues frm our labor is used to develop de country & not consumed or used to enrich de few. In Africa,no matter hw hard u work,u re given peanuts as reward. De revenues re 4 greedy politicians”, another stated.
One X use also stated, “Simple answer… ” The system works better there than Africa” work is being paid per hour in Europe calculate your salary here and divide it by the hours you do in a day in africa…you will understand why”.
Additionally, a netizen also wrote, “Africa is far better than Europe and America or USA 🇺🇸 because in Africa we pay taxes but not like how Europe, USA and others pay and some people even live on credit… there is no rich man or wealth man who would like to settle or spend the rest of his life in Europe or USA”.
