A young Ghanaian man has bravely confronted three armed robbers who attacked him and his mother.
According to reports, the young man and his mother were attacked at their residence in Lakeside, Accra.
The information gathered suggests his bold initial struggle with the robbers drew the attention of neighbours, who stepped in to assist.
The young man recounted how he told one of the robbers who pointed a gun at him that he wasn’t afraid and dared him to shoot however, the armed robber fired into the ground instead.
One of the robbers died during the attack, another was arrested after sustaining injuries, and the third managed to escape.
Items including mobile phones, a laptop, and car keys, which the robbers attempted to make away with, were later recovered nearby.
Meanwhile, the action of the young man has sparked concern over his heroism and safety, with, many Ghanaians saying, “Finally, we get someone from Ghana to be part of the 100 men that will face the gorilla”.
“Just as in Wrestling they write ✍️ in the end “Don’t Try This at home” I’m urging you all not to try this at home. You may not be fortunate. Instead gather a lot of intelligence and give it to the police”, another stated.
A netizen also added, “He shouldn’t ever try that again. Some ruthless robbers would have ended him”.
“This is dangerous, but that’s the primaeval animal instinct of a man. This is how men were raised to be, fearless and fighters”, one more X user stated.
Additionally, another Ghanaian stated, “Bro thought this was a Nigerian movie.. congrats to him for staying alive.., Buh he shouldn’t ever try it again”.
“Don’t mistake stupidly for bravery 😂😂.He no meet correct robbers that be why. Even if you be Bruce Lee.. don’t fight someone who is armed”, another wrote.
