Security personnel rescue victims of the Ponzi scheme QNET

A video has surfaced on social media of security rescuing several victims of the Ponzi scheme known as QNET.

According to the reports, the victims were enticed from various parts of the country under the guise of offering lucrative returns on their investments, at a location in Kumasi Tafo in the Ashanti Region.​

The Security personnel found the victims in an unpleasant state, housed in a poorly maintained room with an inscription on the wall reading, ‘Don’t complain, don’t explain, just believe!’ serving as a motivation for the hope of a better future.​

In the viral video shared on X,  some of the victims also appeared physically malnourished due to inadequate feeding, disclosing that they had been provided with only GHS 5 worth of food per day.

A narrator in the video stated, “We came to rescue one of our brothers and this is it, QNET where they have been keeping their people. They psych the children in such a way that whatever you tell them, they don’t listen, they make them believe they will be billionaires in the next three months.

Look at what they are eating here all in the name of QNET, people from the Northern Region, have come all the way from Tumu and beyond to Ashanti Region Tafo QNET.

Look at this guy you can even tell he is a sickle cell patient, they feed on 5 cedis a day”, he added.

Some Ghanaians have shared their opinion about the video saying, “ A friend invited me to join last year. If you see the way their leaders were given me vibes eeeh , you’ll think you’ll become a billionaire in two months”.

“Young guys will always fall victim to this guy because they don’t want to pass through the system of training.  They just want to make money at all cost. There is no free launch anywhere oooh”, another stated.

One X user also wrote, “ This was happening all these years but the NPP couldn’t zoom in on this people.

Thanks security personnel. This is a great achievement for the country”.

Meanwhile, some angry residents of Kumasi in December 2024 stormed the base on Q-Net in Kumasi.

The angry residents besieged their premises rounding up members of Q-Net.

According to reports, the angry Kumasi residents stormed the place after a family member of one of the residents was recruited which later resulted in a substantial loss of money.

In a viral video shared by SIKAOFFICIAL on social media page X, some alleged members of Q-Net were captured and rounded up.

A narrator in the video shared could be heard heavily descending on the alleged members of Q-Net, saying, “These are the people deceiving people, have you seen them, come and work for money they will not do it, it only foolish work and deceiving people that they want to be engaging in, look at them, when you get up dress up nicely and you will be deceiving people”.
