In the viral video shared on social media, Alhaji Masawudu Osman pushed TV3’s microphone which was part of others in front of Justin Kodua, Afenyo Markin, Nana Boakye and himself.

Afenyo Markin and Nana Boakye at the press conference were stunned by Alhaji Masawudu Osman’s action.

This comes after Johnnie Hughes on his show taunted the NPP over their boycott of all Media General platforms.

Johnnie Hughes stated, “I came back with renewed energy tell them I am back, you say you have boycotted a Media house when they extend the microphone to you, you speak into it. When they do stories you go and share it but you have boycotted. Do you understand your boycott or cancellation means review are you still in that state?”

It will be recalled the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has withdrawn from all Media General’s platforms, including TV3, 3 FM, and Onua FM.

The party’s communications director, Richard Ahiagbah communicated through a press release issued on January 26 made this known.

According to the NPP, this follows months of supposed failed attempts to address concerns over biased and unprofessional conduct by Media General hosts and management.

Meanwhile, Salam Mustapha, the National Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has fired shots at  Andy Kwame Appiah-Kubi the former Member of Parliament for Asante Akim North.

According to Salam Mustapha, Andy Appiah Kubi is spitting in the face of the NPP after his blatant disregard for the party’s directive to boycott all Media General platforms.

Salam Mustapha further added, “Senior, this party made you Hon. Andy Appiah Kubi, you have been youth leader like me and an MP etc. In the adversity we find ourselves, it’s not time for personal glorification but how to rebuild our party up to task. It’s this same aggrandisement that led us into the ditch”.

He further questioned Andy Appiah-Kubi why every member of the NPP has fallen into line by not appearing on Media General Platforms except him.

“How’s it that Sammy Gyamfi is/was able to lead an effective boycott of one of the biggest platforms in this country, Kokrokoo on Peace Fm and everyone fell into line that we can not? Why has everyone fallen into line except you? You’re bigger than all of us or wiser or some other reason that’s not known to us.

Let’s be conscious of the examples that we set for the younger generations coming up. If our bad actions doesn’t destroy the party now, it may in the future. For the NPP, we in leadership would not have been known persons in this country. It’s incumbent on all of us to hold the party in good stead for others to also rise. Let’s not encourage nonchalance in the party”, Salam Mustapha added boldly.
