The lifeless bodies of two young girls have been found on a farm at Brewaniase in the Nkwanta South Municipality of the Oti Region.
The two girls have been identified as 15-year-old Akpalu Emefa and 8-year-old Emmanuella Dzihonu.
According to reports the two girls went missing on Sunday, after being sent to the farm.
Reports suggest the bodies were discovered with head injuries and signs of broken bones.
Police authorities were called for both bodies to be recovered, transported and deposited at the Nkwanta Municipal Government Hospital morgue.
Meanwhile, a full-scale investigation into the incident is ongoing.
Some Ghanaians have reacted to the sad news on X saying, “People are really committing serious sins ooo. Eii. How can you even feel like a human again after doing something like this”.
“Why this rampant murder cases?”, another quizzed.
One more X user stated, “Chale how these things are becoming normal is alarming”.
