An elderly Ghanaian woman has voiced out her youthful regrets and admonished young women against rushing into marriages under societal pressures.
According to the elderly woman, young ladies must take their time to search for a husband as some men are devils.
She asserted that some men will become useless after marriage turning the lady rather into a man and themselves a lady.
Speaking in a viral video the woman stated, “If I was young again, I would take my time and search for what I am looking for. It is not all men that when you give birth with that is your husband. Some of them are not supposed to be your husband you will go and take a devil.
Some of them are devils, they will become useless turning you into a male and turning themselves into a female doing nothing.
The men that have come now are wizards, so the young girls I am advising you to take your time and look for a husband. If you are going to heaven you are not going to take marriage there. Some people will be saying they want marriage but will be in churches and she will get old”.
The elderly Ghanaian woman further advised the young ladies to give birth as they search for a husband asserting that when one dies they ask for your child and not your husband.
She added, “We are not taking marriage to heaven or what is needed is having a child, when you die they ask of your child, not your husband. Don’t say you are waiting for a man to marry you. When you get some have sex and give birth”.
Meanwhile, some Ghanaians have reacted to the elderly woman’s advice saying, “True talk, only the wise understands her. “Never be attached to anything in life”, not even marriage, thus if you really want to be happy in this life-time”.
Another wrote, “I can’t confirm either good or bad advice but I believe it’s one of the reasons your forefathers were marrying or leaving with a lot of women no ooh. Because the women had a certain understanding about U with a man. But our current generation now dia ebi the claim ownership ooh”.
One user also noted, “She is taking out of pain. The question you need to ask yourself is, What’s the purpose of marriage? We shouldn’t allow anyone to say things into our head and accept them just like that. May God help us”.
