Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah, a controversial Ghanaian media personality has made a shocking revelation about the ill health of vice president Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman.
Okatakyie Afrifa has alleged that the Vice president has suffered a serious stroke.
According to him, his sources have informed him about the health condition of Jane Naana.
His comments come after Professor Jane Naana was rushed to the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) on Saturday, March 29, 2025, after a sudden illness on Friday night after work.
However, after administering the initial treatment, experts from the University of Ghana Medical Centre advised her to seek further treatment abroad.
This health update was disclosed in a statement issued by the Spokesperson to the President and Minister for Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, on Sunday, March 30, 2025.
Speaking on his show For the Records, Okatakyie Afrifa claimed the Vice President suffered a stroke and was rushed to the hospital where she was treated and later rushed back to an event where she suffered a second stroke.
According to him, the decision for her to travel abroad for treatment was made after the second alleged stroke attack.
He further fired shots at the NDC government for failing to protect and cited that negligence caused the death of Professor Mills and Amissah Arthur.
Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah urged them to sit up to help save the life of the vice president.
Meanwhile, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has for the first time since news broke about her seeking urgent medical care at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC), and her referral to a hospital abroad has spoken.
