The wife of Kofi Adoma Nwanwani the host and CEO of KOFI TV and Radio has shared a message with Ghanaians on the health situation of her husband.
According to Miracle Adoma in a Facebook post, light has come, and darkness has been lifted.
She further thanked God for the life of her husband and family.
In a Facebook post made on Saturday, April 12, 2025, Miracle Adoma wrote, “No matter how high the sun shines in the afternoon, it must give way for the moon at night.
Lord, I am grateful for the life of my husband, Kofi Adoma, and the family. People, light has come, and darkness has been lifted,” she wrote.
According to Kofi Adomah, the unfortunate incident began after he received a call from the Dormaahene, inviting him to cover the Kwafie Festival. Despite feeling unwell upon arrival, he decided to honour the request and began his coverage.
“While covering the event, I received another call from someone who claimed there were other parts of the festival I needed to document. As I moved to that location, I suddenly saw a gunman fire in my direction, and I began to bleed in my eye,” he narrated.
The incident occurred in December 2024, during the Kwafie Festival, which also marked the climax of the 25th-anniversary celebration of Dormaahene Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyeman Badu II. While conducting interviews amidst the traditional firing of musketry, one of the shots reportedly struck him in the face, leaving one eye seriously damaged and in need of urgent surgical attention.
Meanwhile, Kofi Adoma recently thanked business mogul and philanthropist Ibrahim Mahama for his support while receiving medical treatment.
Kofi Adoma Nwanwani revealed that Ibrahim Mahama donated $115,000 to cover his medical bills.
Speaking to the press on March 13, 2025, Kofi Adomah thanked him for his assistance and prayed for God’s blessings upon Ibrahim Mahama’s life.
He stated, “So, we called Ibrahim Mahama, who was willing to support and even asked why he had not been informed earlier so he could fly us from Dormaa to Accra with his private jet.
“He immediately asked us to send our account number and made a deposit of funds. God bless him and every other person who contributed towards my treatment,” Kofi Adoma added.
