Glorious Word Power Ministries International has confidently shut down rumours claiming that the Apostle Dr. Isaac Owusu Bempah has said that Vice President Prof Jane Naana is going to die.
The church asserted that the man of God has not stated anywhere that the Vice President is going to die.
According to the church, the snippets going viral are misleading and distorted and noted that the videos going around on social media are edited compilations of different sermons.
Their statement added that the viral video was an old discussion on Okay FM when Nana Oppong, recounted Apostle Dr. Owusu Bempah’s prophetic revelation and intervention regarding a spiritual attack on the then-Vice President.
The Glorious Word Power Ministries International statement reads, “We would like to address misleading and distorted snippets from our church service on Sunday, March 30, 2025, that have been circulating on social media. These selectively edited clips falsely suggest that Apostle Dr. Isaac Owusu Bempah made prophetic statements about the demise of Her Excellency Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang.
“To clarify, Apostle Dr. Isaac Owusu Bempah has not stated anywhere that the Vice President of the Republic, Her Excellency Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, is going to die”, it added.
The statement further added, “Apostle Dr. Isaac Owusu Bempah referred to a past conversation on Okay FM 101.7, where the morning show host, Kwame Nkrumah Tikesie, engaged with Odeneho Nana Oppong, the then-Transport Officer at the Jubilee House under the previous administration of His Excellencies Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Dr. Bawumia.
In that discussion, Nana Oppong recounted Apostle Dr. Owusu Bempah’s prophetic revelation and intervention regarding a spiritual attack on then-Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, which ultimately saved his life.”
“It is unfortunate that some bloggers have intentionally misrepresented the facts to fit a false narrative”.
“This misinformation is not only misleading but is also needlessly raising tension and causing panic among citizens. We call on the Ghana Police Service and the relevant security agencies to conduct an investigation into this matter,” it added.
Professor Jane Naana was rushed to the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) on Saturday, March 29, 2025, after a sudden illness on Friday night after work.
However, after administering the initial treatment, experts from the University of Ghana Medical Centre advised her to seek further treatment abroad.
Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has for the first time since news broke about her seeking urgent medical care at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC), and her referral to a hospital abroad has spoken.
In her message, she expressed deep gratitude for the kindness and support shown by Ghanaians.
“Likewise, I would like to say thank you to everyone for the kind sentiments and well wishes this weekend.”
