The cost of application forms for persons seeking admission into nursing training institutions across the country has been reduced by twenty-five percent.
The forms which were previously sold for Ghc200 will now sell for Ghc150 as announced by the Ministry for Health.
The sale of application forms for admission into health training institutions across Ghana for the 2025/2026 academic year is set to officially begin on Tuesday, 22nd April 2025.
In a statement signed by the Minister, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, the move is aimed at enhancing access and affordability for applicants nationwide.
According to the ministry, this decision is expected to provide some financial relief to prospective students and their families, and forms part of the Ministry’s broader strategy to improve enrolment and equity in health education across the country.
“The general public and all prospective applicants must take note that the cost of application forms, which was Two Hundred Ghana Cedis (GHS 200.00), has now been reduced to One Hundred and Fifty Ghana Cedis (GHS 150.00).”
“The reduction is intended to enhance access and affordability for applicants across the country.”
“The general public and all prospective applicants are entreated to take note that only GCB Bank PLC. and the Agriculture Development Banks are mandated to sell the application forms,” portions of the statement read.
