Kennedy Agyapong a former New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential hopeful has told Ghanaians the National Democratic Congress (NDC) promised heaven and quizzed if they are seeing the heaven.
He noted that in just these first three months of the John Mahama government, Ghanaians should look around as this is only the beginning.
The former lawmaker also quizzed Ghanaians to imagine what four years under the NDC government will bring.
According to Kennedy Agyapong, Ghanaians should brace themselves draw strength from these trials, and rise above them.
Speaking at a TESCON event, which he shared on X, Kennedy Agyapong stated, “They promised you heaven… Is this the heaven we’re seeing in these first three months? Is this the heaven we are seeing in these three months? Even in the first three months, look at what is happening.
“So, you can imagine the challenges we are going to face. But it has happened. Let us fortify ourselves, brace ourselves for challenges, and we shall overcome,” he added.
Kennedy Agyapong further called on TESCON to lead the charge and take the message of the NPP from house to house.
“So, TESCON, I charge you today to lead the NPP’s campaign. Go from house to house, engage everyone you meet, and tell them the story of the NPP. And I know that with your efforts, we will be able to come back to power”, Kennedy Agyapong added.
