I still stand for peace but let me give you one example, the Kumasi incident, when I was there can you believe that the MPs who were with me they called and threatened them? Tech the MPs who were there they called and threatened them.

I beg you if it continues like that whatever we are doing we cannot get unity. We are preaching unity but the way things are going it is going to be tough”.

He asserted that NPP can only reclaim power if they are united and anchored in fairness and justice.

“If NPP will come back to power unless we are united, I insist even if you bring Jesus Christ without unity we cannot win an election. So I am of the opinion and firmly believe that with unity, we will be able to win 2028.

But there is a catch here when you want peace there are two things that are needed, fairness and Justice. Without fairness and Justice, it will be very difficult to get everybody on board so I am pleading with you the executive to stand firm, I know pressure all over”.

Kennedy Agyapong further donated 1 million cedis to NPP to pay arrears owed to workers.

He added, “It is not only unique to the NPP, but every party, when they go to opposition, they face financial or resource challenges. So, I came from Madagascar, and I heard the news that for four months, we’ve not been able to pay salaries and even money to work.

“So, I decided I’ll come and give my widow’s mite as a contribution to help run the administration of the party”.

He added; “We just came to opposition in about four months, and it’s sad that we cannot run the party, which I think is not good enough. So, my message is simple. I’ve come this morning to give my widow’s mite as a contribution to enable you to run the party.”

Meanwhile, Ralph Agyapong has revealed Kennedy Agyapong will contest the NPP’s primaries ahead of the 2028 elections.

According to Ralph Agyapong, Kennedy Agyapong is seriously preparing for the NPP’s next presidential primaries.

He asserted that internally the dynamics have changed within the NPP which favour his brother Kennedy Agyapong.

I have always maintained that the NPP can only reclaim power if we are united. But unity must be anchored in fairness and justice. Without these principles, true unity is impossible.
