Founder of Action Chapel International, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, has heaped praises on President Mahama, testifying that he has the best interest of Ghana at heart.
The man of God revealed that President Mahama unlike some other leaders is a selfless individual without a greedy heart.
“This guy (Mahama), he means well for this country, I am telling you,” Duncan Williams told his congregation.
Revealing reasons for speaking highly of President Mahama, Duncan Williams shared an encounter he had with some business tycoons some years back.
“I was somewhere some years ago and I met some business tycoons. One of them said you know that your former President (Mahama), he is a good man, and I said yes I know.”
Per his account, the business tycoon revealed that a company he knows came to Ghana for a business deal, “and the deal was set up in a way that after some years when the money is paid and everything, the company will be owned by certain Ghanaians, the foreign investor and a portion will go to the President.”
He disclosed that immediately President Mahama was told of the structure, he vehemently disapproved of it.
“He told them to structure the deal in such a way that after the debt is paid off, the investment will be owned by Ghana,” he applauded Mahama.
According to Duncan Williams, he has heard two different business tycoons make the same claims about President Mahama.
“I have heard that thing twice, before (when he was in opposition) and the recent time when he came (back as President). He means well but he needs help,” he told his congregation.
This testimony by Duncan Williams has sparked debate on social media, with some saying Presidents or state officials not leveraging on their positions for personal gains must be normalized.

@ExpressYourMin1 – This is nothing special. No president of Ghana meant evil for he nation. They all mean well. However, having good intentions doesn’t mean anything. Putting it to action is what matters. How can you tell me that the person who lays off workers and sacking CJ mean well for Ghana?
