Speaking in an interview on Net 2 TV, Abronye alleged, “She was called and advised not to go for any ministerial position to avoid unnecessary stress. Instead, she was told to sit at the Jubilee House and receive the same salary as the GRA boss. Didn’t you call me to give you information, don’t you want to listen to information. How do you want me to say it?

You will not go and look for information when I bring them you claim I am saying things. GH¢ 95,000, just GH¢ 5,000 left to make it 1 billion old cedis. That is Joyce Bawah’s salary. Today, she doesn’t respect anybody in this country”, he stated.

Part of the statement of R.O. Solomon Consulting reads, “We write as solicitors for and on the instructions of Mrs Joyce Bawah Mogtari (Client), a citizen of Ghana, a lawyer, a Presidential Advisor and a Special Aide to the President of the Republic of Ghana.

Our instructions are that on about the 26th day of March 2025, you falsely recklessly and maliciously made statements during an interview on Net 2 TV, a television station with extensive national and international coverage, to the effect that our Client was advised to refrain from vying for a ministerial role but should rather opt for a role as a presidential staffer which is a job without any stress but comes with a huge monthly salary of Ghs95,000.00 (ninety-five thousand Ghana cedis).

You added further that as a result of the huge sums our Client is presently receiving, she has become disrespectful to everyone in Ghana. The said statements have also been published variously on several media platforms including Ghanaweb, an online media platform with a global audience”, the statement added.

The legal team of Joyce Bawah Mogtari further added that Abronye DC statement has caused serious embarrassment and damage to the image and reputation of our Client.
