Renowned 52-year-old Ghanaian plastic surgeon and millionaire, Dr Michael Obeng, has revealed that he made his first one million dollars at the age of 34.
He revealed the highest-ever annual earnings was $9 million.
According to him, the worst financial decision he made in life was marrying the wrong person.
Reflecting on his journey from living in the slums of Ghana to becoming one of the world’s leading plastic surgeons and now residing in the ultra-wealthy neighbourhood of Beverly Hills, he affirmed his strong belief in God.
Dr Obeng also disclosed that he is in the process of launching a pharmaceutical plant in Ghana, which will be the largest in sub-Saharan Africa which will be the key to him becoming a billionaire.
Dr. Michael Obeng is one of the few plastic surgeons globally who has successfully reattached a limb and removed ribs to reshape the waist. Seven years ago, he gained widespread attention for performing a successful forehead reduction surgery.
A netizen also wrote, “In 2018, he made national headlines for successfully performing forehead reduction surgery.
He was named among “America’s Top Plastic Surgeons” by the Consumer Research Council of America in 2011 and 2014… In 2021, he successfully performed a $12,500 procedure for FREE by helping to remove stacked Gorilla Glue from a woman’s hair… Man is skilled at what he does and, above all, a very religious person!”.
Some Ghanaians reacting to the video stated, “Unfortunately Ghanaian politicians will use their greed to frustrate him so much that this plant project might just not materialize. We’ve seen this many times- Politicians frustrating businessmen for no reason”.
Another stated, “Hhhmmm Ghanaians making waves of success wherever they are around the world but why are we here backwards as country even struggles to feed ourselves and meet our basic needs as nation??. Bad leadership from greedy politicians, isn’t it. 👇🇬🇭😇😭😭😭😭”.
Additionally, another X user stated, “Some of my friends still see themselves as a victim of a so-called whiteman religion. This man here through faith in the same religion has created wealth. Do you still think religion is the cause of our woes as Africans? No, I think it’s our mindset and laziness”.
